Title: Valco BV Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager
Reports to: General Manager – Valco BV
Supervises: This role can direct and supervise other personnel. Cooperates with the Technical Service Manager
Responsibility Level:
The Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager is responsible for sourcing, operational purchasing, and vendor management. This Manager leads logistics and warehouse management, including inventory control, and cooperates with the Technical Service Manager to achieve receivals and shipment of products.
In addition, this Manager is responsible to maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP (King) system, coordinate international shipments, and support the sales team by directly handling local and small orders.
This position requires a leader and motivator who possesses outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Duties:
Leads vendor management including vendor identification, qualification, and relationship building
Cooperates with U.S. Engineering to validate vendor production and quality standards and performance
Manages operational purchasing to achieve logical stocking levels that balance the need for quick order shipments with control of inventory investment
Manages material movement and stock mutations in the ERP system (King)
Actively searches for opportunities to reduce stocking levels without adversely affecting order shipments
Manages logistics, selecting and booking transportation services, for inbound and outbound shipments
Provides delivery time estimates and transport costs in a timely fashion
Reports availability of products and keeps control over backorders
Reports on shipped orders to be invoiced
Coordinates international shipments and export documents and ensures international trade compliance.
Cooperates with the Technical Service Manager to organize supply receivals and shipments of products to customers
Leads efforts to organize the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval of products
Assures proper identification and counts of all products in the warehouse
Organizes and takes part in the warehouse wall-to-wall counts for periodic and annual inventory assessments
Manages order picking, packing and shipments preparations, and loading/unloading and works collaboratively to organize the assistance required
Provides production support when needed
Provides sales support by directly handling local or small orders
Acts as a prevention, safety, and health officer for the team.
All other reasonable duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Business, or related field
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a supply chain or inventory control role
Knowledge of and experience with a computer ERP system
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Understanding of and experience with import and export documentation requirements and transportation/freight management
Ability to analyze supply/demand history to manage forecasting and purchasing execution across a variety of product lines from multiple sources
Ability to work within schedules/deadlines
Ability to lift and carry 23kg repeatedly during the day
Detail oriented, well organized and have ability to work with others
Practical understanding of safe working habits and ability to lead by example
Solid judgment to know what is appropriate for the company size/scope
Capacity to build relationships internally & externally
Related industry experience such as knowledge of poultry production and/or greenhouse horticulture preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to write reports, recommendations, proposals, and other documents for management
Foreign language skills – English required; additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, and Russian preferred
Demonstrates Integrity – Fully explains own position, confronts hidden agendas, and does the right thing without worrying about personal sacrifice

Title: Valco BV Territory Sales Manager
Reports to: Valco BV Sales & Marketing Manager
Supervises: This position is not a function that involves supervision of others. The role is an individual contributor with individual responsibility and decision making.
Responsibility Level:
This position is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy required to achieve revenue and profitability targets in the assigned territory, accounts, and product lines.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for traveling independently and extensively to drive new business, build customer loyalty, ensure high customer retention rates, implement improvement plans for sales productivity, market penetration, sales turnover, and to achieve targeted product placements.
This position requires a skilled negotiator who possess analytical, organizational, and outstanding communication skills.

Duties:
Actively identify and pursue business development opportunities and new customer accounts.
Prepare quotes for customers, reaching out to internal support personnel as necessary.
Execute sales efforts in the assigned territory, accounts, and product lines. Ensure favorable negotiation within the realm of authorized levels of pricing authority. Close on sales opportunities.
Conduct one-on-one meetings with potential customers through field visits and on-site demonstrations.
Manage customer sales through the life of the project including follow-up after the sale.
Work with internal support groups to facilitate an orderly sales process.
Implement promotional programs with customers in coordination with Marketing.
Assist with preparation and attend trade shows, exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.
Participate in the development of sales goals and objectives for assigned territories, accounts, and product lines.
Recommend, implement, and comply with company sales methods and procedures to enhance the success of sales activities.
Ensure potential customer and customer contact information are maintained and updated.
Communicate and respond to customer inquiries and problems. Own the resolution of customer problems by working with other VAL-CO personnel to establish root cause and corrective actions.
Carry out effective communication with appropriate executives, managers, and stakeholders across the whole VAL-CO organization to ensure that business objectives are met.
Requirements:
Broad training in sales, marketing, business administration, or animal agriculture
Practical knowledge of animal agriculture business structures or live production experience
Two or more years’ experience in sales of agricultural systems or two or more years’ experience in live production
Self-starter and highly motivated to work efficiently in a remote setting
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Ability to travel independently and without accompaniment as required.
Foreign language skills – English required; additional languages such as Spanish, French preferred.
Demonstrates the ability to multi-task
Experience selling through dealer channels is preferred
Proficiency in the use of computer software applications for sales management preferred. Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is required
Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to deliver presentations in both small group and large group environments. Ability to write reports, recommendations, proposals and other documents for executive business management
Availability to travel extensively within assigned territory and to company headquarters when requested
Certification in professional sales training preferred
